About Us

Lindsay is a certified embodiment Coach, dance instructor, and lifelong lover of movement who helps people reconnect with themselves through embodied awareness, compassionate inquiry, and joyful expression. With over 19 years of teaching dance and a master’s degree in Social Science focused on challenging weight stigma and shifting cultural narratives toward greater body acceptance and compassion, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work.
Lindsay believes the body holds deep wisdom and that true transformation comes from aligning with mind, body, and spirit. Through embodiment, movement, community, and spiritual practice, she creates spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, explore authentic self-expression, and cultivate a more trusting and freeing relationship with their bodies. Through her one-on-one embodiment sessions and at our HartsSpace retreats, Lindsay guides people home to their bodies while continuing to be guided home to her own purpose—supporting others in discovering greater presence, freedom, and the joy of feeling fully alive through the healing power of embodiment.

Why I do this work

Why Embodied Wellness Coaching Exists

Embodied Wellness Coaching exists because modern life often teaches us to move faster, do more, and override the signals of our bodies in the name of productivity, achievement, and being enough.

Over time, we can become disconnected from our bodies, our needs, our emotions, our intuition, and the deeper truth of who we are. We begin to live primarily from the thinking mind while ignoring the wisdom and information available within us.

I believe we are not here simply to perform, produce, or become someone different. We are here to be fully human—to be present, connected, creative, compassionate, free, and alive.

Through embodied self-exploration, we can begin to soften the pressure to fix ourselves, take off the mask, and arrive as we are. We can learn to listen inwardly, reconnect with our own knowing, develop self-trust, and make choices that are more aligned with our truth.

I believe this inner reconnection creates a ripple effect. When we relate to ourselves with greater compassion and kindness, we have more capacity to extend that humanity to others—in our families, friendships, communities, work, and the world.

This work is also deeply personal for me. I know what it is like to live in conflict with my body, to override its signals, and to feel trapped in a cycle of not-enoughness and disconnection. My own healing has taught me that freedom is about so much more than changing the body. It is about becoming comfortable in our own skin, listening to ourselves, caring for ourselves, and becoming more available to life.

Embodied Wellness Coaching exists to support that return: to the body, to the self, to connection, and to the freedom and aliveness that become possible when we no longer have to abandon ourselves to belong in the world.
